Representing the interests of the communities located within the City is of utmost importance to me. That means listening to the concerns of the people who live in the communities and sharing information from the City to those who live here.

A City is made up of residents, their homes, and local businesses. Our City runs on the sales tax revenue from our local businesses. Bringing and supporting local businesses is important to the ongoing economic health of our City. I have over 32 years of experience working with businesses; helping them to improve their profits or develop marketing or strategic plans.

​I offer my time and abilities to support the Residents of the City of Surprise. I value the input of the residents and will make my decisions based on facts and the needs of the city as a whole. I am interested in helping our local veterans and I would like to focus on bringing the many parts of our City together. With a robust career in the financial services industry, I have a proven track record of leadership and expertise. As Vice President and Regional Membership Manager, I designed and implemented comprehensive educational training programs for management, focusing on stress management, cost evaluation, workplace improvements, and business relationship development. These programs successfully trained over 10,000 employees. Additionally, I am a certified facilitator, equipped with the skills to enhance organizational performance. Prior to my retirement in 2008, I managed a portfolio of customers with over $86 million in deposits, demonstrating my ability to oversee significant financial assets and foster strong client relationships. My extensive experience and commitment to excellence make me well-prepared to serve as Mayor of Surprise, AZ.

I am currently serving on the board of Valley Metro, representing the West Valley's interests in public transportation, advocating for improved transit solutions for our community. Additionally, I am a member of the Arizona Broadband Task Force, working to bring internet access to all residents of Surprise, ensuring digital inclusion regardless of availability or financial ability. I also contribute to the Maricopa Association of Governments' Domestic Violence Task Force, focusing on initiatives to support survivors, and serve on the task force addressing domestic violence issues for residents over 55. My current roles reflect my dedication to enhancing the quality of life and ensuring equitable access to essential services for all residents of Surprise.
